CAN’d Aid is a Boot Camp Class #14 Sponsor!
The Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI), received a $5,000 grant from the CAN’d Aid Foundation to support Class #14 of the Business Launch Boot Camp.
CAN’d Aid is the non-profit side of Longmont, CO based Oskar Blues Brewery and is a public charity dedicated to giving back and doin’ good. The Foundation is supporting RMMFI through their Towns Initiative which works to build strong communities.
This new partnership will support entrepreneurs participating in Class #14 of the Business Launch Boot Camp which began in September with nine aspiring business owners who will officially launch their businesses in Denver this November.
The CAN’D Aid Foundation digs bikes, beer, music, food and family and we rally around what we love to make a difference. Our areas of “do-goodery” are focused on Towns, Tunes, Treads + Trails and Love Yur Mama. www.foundation.oskarblues.com

RMMFI teamed up with Denver Beer Co. to create ‘Opportunity Ale’ a fundraiser beer that supports RMMFI! Rob Smith selected to the 2015 Class of Leadership Denver
RMMFI’s Executive Director, Rob Smith, was selected as a member of the the 2015 Class of Leadership Denver! Leadership Denver brings together leaders to discuss and learn about the challenges facing the Denver Metro area for the purpose of expanding their commitment to voluntary civic responsibility.
Joshua Abeyta’s GREAT Life as a Business Owner:
Joshua Abeyta graduated from RMMFI’s Business Launch Boot Camp Class #5 in December 2012. His passion for music and a dream of a creating a better life for himself and his daughter drove him to create I Can Jam Studios with his business partner. The result is a business that is thriving, creating jobs, and Joshua is doing what he loves every day; helping people to “harness their inner star” through music.
